Logitech states C270 is supported withwindows 10, is anoyone still using c270 with success with my windows 10 release? Is there any workaround or new driver? Regards UPDATE: I have finally tried the cam with a Linux PC, and a Mac. the proposed regedit workaround with no success (the webcam still does not work). Then I found a post on a problem with the old Anniversary Update (but I have no probs since 1 week!) Uninstalling and reinstalling the device (both remove and disable) Please note that the C270 audio MIC is correctly working. Firmware Ver 1.27.Īlso The Windows 10 camera app fails to detect/use the Webcam. Yet, others online swear they were able to get it to work on their Chromebook. ![]() Please note that Skype desktop lists the webcam as video device and permits the selection of it, while Skype App have no video settings.įrom the Windows Device Manager Panel, C270 device looks ok (no yellow marks) and driver is updated at 13.80.853.0. I called Logitech and was told that their C270 HD Webcam isn't compatible with the Chrome OS. I also tried the new Skype App for Windows 10, it simply tolds nothing and disable the video. My Logitech C270 HD webcam has stopped working since 1 week.When using Skype desktop (7.40) video is not visualized (circle grey arrow keeps turning around on black screen). ![]()
